This created a new movement for art.  2) Neoclassisism was developed during this time period; it used approved models and forms and stressed order, reason, and serious or moral messages. 3) Romanticism was also a style in this time period; it emphasized experiences and feelings instead of order and reason.  4) Impressionism came about in this time period. The impressions of color and light created pictures in viewers' minds. They applied colors side by side with short, broad brushstrokes. Artists rarely used drawn lines, shadows, or dark colors.  5) Pointillism, or Neo-Impressionism, showed art that was stuck on how people see color. They used tiny dots or points of separate colors on canvas.
