Creating activities with Wordwall

Most whiteboard and presentation software works by having a big blank white screen with a long row of tool icons. Using this kind of software to make a genuinely interactive activity is a daunting process.

The other alternative is to buy in pre-made content. The problem here is you can rarely find a resource that is exactly what you want. It might have worked for the author, but that doesn't mean it's going to work for your class and the way you like to teach.

Wordwall is different. You make resources with a simple and efficient template system.

With Wordwall any teacher can make what they want, when they want it.

How it works

Step 1 - Pick a template

Once you are logged in, you click on Create Activity and you'll get to pick your template.

This decides the overall style of activity you will make. The options include Quiz, Match-up, Seating-plan and many more.

Step 2 - Enter your content

You then need to enter your content. This means typing, pasting or searching for the text and image content of your activity. This might be a simple as a list of keywords and a few images.

Many templates can be made in as little as one minute.

Step 3 - Play the game

Click done and you now have a fully interactive classroom activity.

You activity is reusable - you can convert it to other templates or edit the content with ease.
